An Aerial Hip H’Opera with Fidget Feet & Tobi Omoteso

Thanks to Chantal McCormick of Fidget Feet and Tobi Omoteso for inviting Opera Workshop into the mind blowing world of H.O.M.E.. It was an amazing experience for our Artistic Director, Shirley Keane to work and sing with such dedicated and generous artists including Willzee, Suleman ‘Sly’ Sode, B.O.G., Walt Nied and Sasha Krohn, Sara Granda & Jym Daly of Fidget Feet.

If you missed our sharing of the first stage of research & development last March 2023 at Irish Aerial Creations, we hope to bring you the full show in 2024 at the Lime Tree. The initial feedback has been wonderful. H.O.M.E is a unique blend of hip hop, live turntable, rap, spoken word, classical opera, graffiti projections, aerial dance, and contemporary dance in a powerful, hard hitting and beautifully wrought tale. Led by Fidget Feet and Tobi Omoteso this truly collaborative process, by a range of artists from radically different media, will lift your heart, shake your soul and bring you back ‘H.O.M.E’.
