Research & Development Digital Workshop
OPERA WORKSHOP have dipped their toes in the mind blowing world of virtual reality! We really are too cool for school!
We had a fantastic weekend at our Research and Development Digital Workshop.
Working alongside technical wizard, Mario Beck we filmed in 360 and explored working in 3D. Mario outlined some of the incredible developments in virtual reality and we got lost in a few digital realms!
We are hoping to develop this idea and explore how we can create work that will thrive in the digital world as well as in the live arena.
Within the sound world, we spoke with Dr Eoin Callery and learned about his work in acoustics.
Our digital workshop team included:
Roisin Walsh, soprano
Conor Prendeville, tenor
Eoin Scanlon, pianist
We were delighted as always to have composer, Fiona Linnane in attendance too.
